Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on AI Agent & Workflow Engineer with practical experience building intelligent AI agents and automating end-to-end business workflows.
The candidate should be capable of designing AI agents that understand business requirements, use tools and APIs, execute multi-step workflows, interact with enterprise applications, and handle exceptions with minimal human intervention.
Note: The role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Azure, LLMs, AI agent frameworks, and .NET. Experience with enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, MuleSoft, and Workato is good to have but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents capable of executing multi-step business processes.
- Build agentic AI workflows using LLMs, tool calling, function calling, and workflow orchestration frameworks.
- Develop AI agents that interact with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and external services.
- Build multi-agent workflows where specialized agents collaborate to complete complex business tasks.
- Implement workflow orchestration, conditional branching, state management, exception handling, and human approval mechanisms.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and backend services.
- Build secure and reliable AI solutions with logging, monitoring, retries, and error recovery.
- Deploy and maintain scalable AI agents and workflows on Microsoft Azure.
- Optimize AI workflows for accuracy, performance, reliability, and operational cost.
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience building AI agents, agentic AI applications, and automated workflows.
- Experience with LLMs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or equivalent models.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Microsoft Semantic Kernel, or AutoGen.
- Strong understanding of tool calling, function calling, prompt engineering, and structured outputs.
- Proficiency in Python or C#/.NET for building AI services, APIs, and integrations.
- Experience with REST APIs, workflow orchestration, asynchronous processing, and error handling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure AI services, Azure Functions, and cloud deployment.
- Understanding of AI security, authentication, authorization, and responsible AI practices.
Good to Have
- Experience with NetSuite APIs and ERP integrations.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with Workato recipes, connectors, and workflow automation.
- Experience deploying production-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows in enterprise environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who has built functional AI agents and end-to-end workflows—not just chatbots or basic LLM applications.
The candidate should be able to connect AI models to tools and APIs, orchestrate multi-step tasks, manage exceptions, implement security controls, and deploy reliable AI solutions into production.
Recruitment priority: Strong hands-on experience building AI agents and end-to-end workflows is mandatory. Microsoft Azure and Python or .NET development skills are important. NetSuite, MuleSoft, and Workato experience is an added advantage, not a prerequisite.
